COVID related protocols

Below are the COVID-19 guidelines for my upcoming Birthday Weekend. My objective is obviously to keep all of us as safe as possible while being flexible enough so that we can enjoy ourselves.

First, if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within 7 days, you should not attend the events of the weekend.

At this stage, all the former restrictions are currently lifted in France but if you are coming from a foreign country, I would ask you to take a Covid test before travelling. 

There is a seventh wave underway in France at this time which is expected to have reached its peak in Paris by the time of the party. However, the French government is once again advising that masks be worn in closed places, including on public transport. For this reason, I would like you to take a test on Thursday July 14th if you’re coming to the fireworks as it will be crowded. Most pharmacies will be closed on July 14th as it’s a national holiday so please have a self-test that you purchase before. Please also take a test on Saturday July 16th prior to the evening party at the Cercle Interallié, even those of you who have already tested negative prior to leaving your respective countries. Rapid tests can be easily purchased in every pharmacy here; you will find one on every other block in the city. 

Once in Paris, wearing a mask is currently optional everywhere and I leave it to your good discretion for all the events of the weekend, most of them being outdoors.

Should the sanitary situation change in the next couple of weeks, this protocol will be updated accordingly.
