Please, no personal gifts but it would be very meaningful to me if you would make a donation to one of my favorite charities. These are all very well run by friends of mine. I would be super, super appreciative if you contributed to one or more of these charities. Please don’t hesitate to ask me if you have any questions.
Thanks so very much,
David

One Family

One Family’s goal is to support and help both Jewish and Arab victims of terror and their families in Israel. The association works towards healing the scars and trauma of terrorism and help victims reintegrate into society.

I’ve known the charity’s founder, Chantal Belzberg, almost since its inception just over twenty years ago and I’m in awe of the real support and help they bring to victims.

Here is the link which can be used for Credit cards or electronic bank transfers.

Les Amis d’Arthur

Les Amis d’Arthur (www.lesamisdarthur.org) was founded 18 years ago by my very good friends, Pierre and Geneviève Deprez. Arthur is their 34-year-old autistic son. The association promotes the inclusion of people with autism and seeks to change the way society views this disability.
The funds raised go towards inclusion projects to help people with autism and support their families. Your gifts will also contribute towards ongoing research into the illness.

ACPRO

Action Citoyenne pour le Proche-Orient

Acpro
Action Citoyenne pour le Proche-Orient (Citizens Action for the Middle East) brings together mainly non-Jewish French citizens who defend the cause and image of Israel. Alain and I were among the founders twenty years ago.

The group regularly visits Israel with the aim of strengthening French-Israeli relations. In addition to meeting with political, academic, religious and business leaders from all communities, we also meet with countless other individuals across Israel. These include Ethiopian Jews at the onset of their Aliyah, religious Jews living on the West Bank, Kibbutz members, the Druze community, Israeli-Arab peace militants, IDF soldiers, Sderot residents facing relentless rocket attacks from Gaza – to name just a few.

Your money supports Acpro sponsoring students to join our trips to see the real Israel as well as different associations building bridges in Israel.

Vaincre la maladie des Os de Verre (Let’s beat Brittle Bone Disease)

https://vmov.assoconnect.com/page/820818-presentation

Osteogenesis Imperfecta affects 1 in 15,000 people. It’s a genetic bone disorder characterized by fragile bones that break easily. In English it is known as Brittle Bone Disease. A person born with this disorder is affected throughout their lifetime.

My very good friends Anne Morand, Jib and Constance Dutreix founded the association, ‘Vaincre la Maladie des Os de Verre’ a few years ago. Anne’s grandson, Jib and Constance’s son, Côme, suffers from the disease. As well as providing support for patients and their families, the charity’s work also funds ongoing research at the Necker Children’s Hospital and offers training for physical therapists. With your help we can advance in research on this severe illness and improve the daily lives of those who suffer from it.
