Party venue – Cercle de l’Union Interalliée
The Interallié was created during the First World War in 1917 with the purpose of offering a place of exchange between officers and political leaders of the Allied nations. After the Armistice of 1918, its founding members decided to keep the Cercle going with the aim of pursuing dialogue and building partnerships between France and its allies.
This was the founding of the “Interallié spirit.” Here, political and economic decision-makers, diplomats, journalists and military leaders from France and friendly nations meet together. General de Gaulle described the Interallié as the “French embassy in Paris”.
For just over a century, the Interallié has also been a center for French cultural and artistic expression – hosting lectures, concerts and exhibitions by leading artists and writers.
And finally, the Cercle Interallié is all about French fine living – with its beautiful salons, splendid gardens and quality cuisine.
